What are the ingredients in Spatone purAbsorb Iron?

One packet of pur-Absrob Iron contains 5mg of naturally occurring elemental iron, in a mineral spring water. Nothing is added to effect the natural composition of pur-Absorb, so you do not have to worry about adverse reactions or side effects from taking other supplements or medications.

Why should I choose pur-Absorb Iron over other iron supplements?

Most traditional iron pills have a low absorption rate (18% on average) so you need to consume a high dose in order to ensure you are getting all of the absorbed iron that the body needs. Because pur-Absorb has a clinically proven high absorption rate, a lower dose is needed to fulfill the body’s daily absorbed iron needs. 

Why is taking less iron preferred?

 How do I take pur-Absorb?

pur-Absorb is ideally taken in the morning on an empty stomach diluted in orange juice.

Other juices that would be suitable are: apple, mango, pineapple, but not grape juice (inhibits absorption). pur-Absorb can also be taken directly from the packet or diluted in water.
