Robert Wilson

Robert Wilson, Chairman of Nelsons, is a passionate advocate of complementary medicine. Brought up in that tradition since childhood, Robert joined the family company in 1987 after graduating from Trinity College, Dublin. He also studied at the Harvard Business School. He worked in marketing and became Managing Director in 1991, before assuming Chairmanship of the company in 2000.

Robert's knowledge and experience of the sector is extensive and he has a deep-rooted personal commitment to furthering complementary medicine which reaches far beyond his role at Nelsons. He plays an instrumental role within the industry as a whole and is Chairman of the BAHM (British Association of Homeopathic Manufacturers). Nelsons also holds a board seat of ECHAMP (the European Coalition on Homeopathic and Anthroposophic Medicinal Products). 

Robert is Chairman of the Barcapel Foundation, which has an extensive charitable giving programme. He is Chairman of Prostate Scotland and a trustee of the Scottish Civic Trust.

Patrick Wilson is Deputy Chairman and International Director of Nelsons. Over the past 25 years, he has worked to develop Nelsons international business from only 3-5 per cent in the mid 1980s to over 70 per cent of the company turnover today. Patrick’s knowledge of complementary medicine and homeopathy on the global stage is extensive and he has been involved in many international seminars and forums. Patrick began in export sales and marketing – becoming International Director and, in 2000, Deputy Chairman.

Patrick is a firm advocate of complementary medicine and, beyond Nelsons, works extensively with people suffering from addictions and substance abuse by bringing a holistic approach to truly international problems.

Najib Fayad, Nelsons’ Chief Operating Officer, was born and raised in Lebanon but since his late teens he has been a true citizen of the world, speaking several languages including English, French, Spanish and Arabic.

Najib has a BA in Economics from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon and an MBA from INSEAD Fontainebleau, France.

Najib has managed business operations and lived in many regions including the Americas (North and South America), Europe, Middle East, Pacific Asia and South Asia. Along the years, he has developed strong financial, marketing and operations competencies through positions at Headquarters and Managing Director posts for regional clusters in South East Asia and Europe. He joined Nelsons as Chief Operating Officer in May 2007.

Zone 1 Director (US & Latin America)

David A. Hinton, President & CEO of Nelson Bach (USA) Limited, was born and raised in Colorado, USA and is a graduate of the University of Southern Colorado (BS Degree).

David is a senior consumer and pharmaceutical products business executive with over 25 years of general management, marketing, sales, finance, manufacturing and M&A experience.  Prior to joining Nelsons, he has held President & CEO positions with various consumer packaged goods companies.  Responsible for turn-around or growth objectives, he has successfully repositioned companies, business units and brands domestically and internationally. 

David is married and has one child.  David’s interests include family, sports, exercising, diving and reading.

Bernd Rickmann

Zone 2 Director (Europe)

Bernd Rickmann is General Manager of Nelsons German subsidiary based in Hamburg. As Zone 2 Director he is responsible for most of the European markets. Before joining Nelsons in 2001 he worked in senior management positions at Hoechst, Brahms Diagnostica and was Board Director responsible for Marketing and Sales at Schülke & Mayr.

Bernd has a Master of Arts degree in German studies and studied the GMP at Harvard Business School. 

Bernd is married and has three children.  In his free time he enjoys music, reading and spending time at the seaside.

Mark Turrell

Zone 3 Director (UK)

Mark Turrell, Director and UK and Ireland General Manager was born and raised in Surrey, educated in Guildford and studied Business at Kingston University.

His early career was spent with Coca-Cola who he joined in 1977 and worked in various Sales and Marketing positions before moving into the Health and Beauty business joining Schwarzkopf and then Gillette where he held senior Sales positions. In 1995 he joined Coty Beauty as Sales and Customer Service Director in charge of the Fragrance and Cosmetics business before joining Nelsons in 2000. Formerly Head of UK Sales and Global Sales Director, in 2006 he was appointed General Manager of UK business.

Mark is married to Lesley and has three children. Outside of work he enjoys all sports, plays golf and attends the gym when he can. Visits the theatre and Cinema and enjoys travel.

Mike Dunne

Finance Director

Mike was born in London but raised and educated in Ireland.  He qualified as an accountant in 1969 and was admitted to fellowship of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants in 1973. 

Mike joined the then Beecham Group where he worked for 12 years as Management and Financial Accountant in the International Division but based in the UK and as Works Accountant in Singapore, as well as travelling extensively overseas.

He then spent 9 years with Pharmacia rising from Financial Controller to Deputy Managing Director and 8 years with Milupa UK as Finance Director and latterly Deputy Managing Director.  He joined Nelsons in 1996.

His roles are that of Group Finance Director and Company Secretary.

Jerry Houlihan

Born and raised in Castleconnell, County Limerick, Jerry attended University in Dublin, graduating from the College of Pharmacy in 1971. 

He joined Glaxo and worked in the Manufacturing Department for 6 years as Plant Manager.  He established a manufacturing operation in Ireland for Richardson Merrill – subsequently acquired by Proctor & Gamble – with whom he then worked until 1995 when he joined Nelsons. 

Jerry’s interests include golf, running and salmon fishing. He has three children and lives in Wimbledon.
 

Charlotte Sundberg Cox

Marketing Director

Charlotte was raised and studied in Surrey, England. She focused her studies on Business with specialism in media and marketing.  

Charlotte has worked in the media and marketing environment throughout her career, but has focused on nutritional and natural healthcare products as it’s a category she believes in personally and enjoys recommending products that make people feel better, healthier and happier.

Working for Nelsons since 1998, Charlotte has worked in both UK and Global roles across the entire portfolio of brands.

Charlotte is married to James Cox, and has two children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with the kids and being close to water whenever possible.
