Iron supplementation made yummy & fun!

Strawberry & kiwi

Meet Suzy Spoon, a passionate vegetarian TV cook from Sydney, Australia – and a big fan of Spatone

Suzy successfully runs her own online vegetarian cooking programme called the ‘iron deficient chef’. Of course, having such an unusual name, we could not resist contacting Suzy and ask her to mix up some tasty Spatone smoothies….

‘I was given a box of Spatone by one of my lovely work colleagues a year ago and was really impressed by the product! I love that it’s 100% natural and of course being a Vegetarian myself and a chef I know about the importance of a balanced diet containing plenty of iron – not only for vegetarians!’ Suzy Spoon

Iron absorption relies greatly on sufficient Vitamin C intake, so it makes a lot of sense to combine iron and Vitamin C to ensure maximum benefit for the body.

Suzy was kind enough to create some recipes for us including the ‘Spatone, Strawberry and Kiwi whip’ a refreshing fruit whip designed to ramp up your iron absorption - give it a go: it’s fun and delicious!
