The Scottish equestrian vaulting team

Nelsons Arnicare arnica cream is proud to support the Scottish Equestrian Vaulting Team (S.E.V.T) based in Tillicoultry, Scotland.

Vaulting’ is an equestrian sport and is most easily ‎described as ‘gymnastics performed on a cantering horse’!

Vaulting routines can involve up to three athletes on ‎the back of a specially trained horse - see our image of the team in action on the right!

An extremely good sense of balance and body tension is required to excel in this tough sport.

‘Due to the nature of the sport it is not uncommon for ‎one or more of us to fall off Henry (our horse) during ‎our practise sessions. Nelsons Arnicare Arnica cream ‎is fantastic in helping with everyday bumps and ‎bruises.
It has been a favourite among our team from ‎the very beginning’.

The Junior team currently consists of seven brave girls ‎and boys aged from as young as eleven to the age of 16 who train both with the horse and a vaulting barrel ‎twice a week.

In 2008 the team was chosen to represent Great ‎Britain in the European Vaulting Championships, held in Brno, Czech Republic and again in 2009 at the ‎European Vaulting Championships in Brokburg,Sweden in August.

In April 2009 they won the FEI Saumur Championship, ‎and they are also the current British and Scottish Champions.

Well done to the Scottish Equestrian Vaulting Team!
