LET BACH™ EMOTIONAL EATING KIT HELP YOU STICK TO YOUR 2011 HEALTHY EATING PLANS THIS EASTER

A survey[1] by Bach Emotional Eating kit# has found that it’s not just kids indulging on chocolate eggs over the Easter season; nearly half (48%) of woman in Great Britain eat between one and three Easter eggs themselves over the two week period. The average 100g chocolate egg contains around 500 calories[2], but go for a large egg or add the chocolate treats found in the middle and you're looking at a whopping 1,000 calories per packaged egg. That’s means up to 3,000 additional calories are consumed over the two week period over Easter[3], on top of regular meals!

Many of us hit the chocolate after 40 days of ‘giving up’ a vice (or two) over lent. The survey found that 20% of women who gave up a particular food or drink for lent overindulge or ‘binge’ on that vice over the Easter season undoing all their good work of the previous weeks. Women often turn to chocolate, not just at Easter but all year round, as it’s seen as comfort food when they are feeling down. So how can we make sure Easter indulgence doesn’t ruin our 2011 healthy eating plans?

Bach Emotional Eating Kit is a set of three 10ml flower essences to give a helping hand with diet and healthy living regimes. It is the first product available in the UK to help with emotional eating. You can create your own individual combination and adapt it to suit your changing moods. The essences are alcohol and additive free and suitable for the whole family.

Bach Emotional Eating Kit includes the essences:

  • Crab Apple – When you feel unclean or dislike something about yourself, Crab Apple can help you accept yourself and your imperfections. Self acceptance means you are less likely to rely on food to make you feel good.
  • Cherry Plum – When you fear you might lose control of your diet, Cherry Plum can help you to think and act rationally.
  • Chestnut Bud – When you find yourself repeating the same dieting mistakes, Chestnut Bud can help you gain knowledge from your experience. This means you are less likely to fall into your old bad habits, for example reaching for food when things get tough.

Bach Original Flower Essences Emotional Eating Kit costs around £10.45 and is available from Boots, Holland and Barrett and all good independent healthfood and pharmacy stores. For more information, visit www.bachremedies.co.uk
