Survey finds Bach Original Flower Remedies are effective for fear of dentists
A recent survey of patients who suffer from dentophobia (fear of dentists) observed the effect of Bach Original Flower Remedies (famous for their ability to help with emotional issues) on anxiety levels during dental appointments. The 312 dentophobic patients chose between trying Bach Original Flower Remedy Mimulus for fear of known things or Rescue™ Remedy for restoring calm in stressful situations – 185 patients chose Rescue Remedy and 127 chose Mimulus.
The results were remarkable – Of the 107 patients that reported suffering from an acute state of fear, 94% of the Rescue group and 84% of the Mimulus group said that their anxiety levels were reduced after taking the flower remedies. And 59% of the total Rescue group (who varied between being mildly nervous to being in an acute state of fear) said it helped significantly and 51% reported the same in the Mimulus group.
