Bach™ Original Flower Remedies have been on the ultimate quest to find out what is important to Britons using a series of complex and probing ‘Would you rather…’ questions[1]. 3,000 adults confessed their life priorities to Bach and the results show Britons to be more emotional and less superficial than everyone would have thought.
In a world where money, beauty and fame often equal success, Bach was extremely relieved to find that those are NOT the most desirable qualities for people in the UK. When given the choice, 93% of participants chose health and 60% chose intelligence over beauty, so no one can accuse us of being vain!
Interestingly, 79% would rather be at the back of the crowd than be papped so maybe the death of celebrity is nigh! And having lots of money is not most people’s aim in life anymore with 92% choosing happiness over money and 70% preferring to live somewhere poor and sunny rather than somewhere affluent but cloudy - a pattern is starting to emerge where Britons are putting emotional well-being above other, shallower ambitions.
Emotional well-being is not just about being happy, it can also affect physical health - when people are feeling stressed, there are several ways it is manifested physically from heart attacks to irritable bowel syndrome to skin flare-ups and headaches.
