This year, Homeopathy Awareness Week is making it even easier for people to find out more about this often misunderstood complementary therapy. Two brand new initiatives are launching during the week -

The Society of Homeopaths have 1,500 members and are trained, registered and insured professionals. The Faculty of Homeopathy have 400 members and are General Medical Council (GMC) registered doctors. This list can be found at choosing-homeopathy.com and can be searched by postcodes for the nearest homeopaths. It will be launched by Faculty member Dr Charlotte Mendes da Costa on 13th June 2011.
The theme of sleeplessness has been selected as it affects so many people and they may not know how homeopathy can help them.

And a separate survey by You Gov, commissioned by natural healthcare specialist Nelsons, polled 2,108 people and uncovered that 42 per cent of people who suffer from sleeplessness are most likely to be kept awake at night by worries, including financial concerns and family problems.
