Decluttering the mind and juggling jobs
Our minds are full of clutter and chaos with endless to-do lists. De-cluttering the mind can help to dust off the grey matter and make space for peace. Try these simple techniques:
Breathe – Take a few deep breaths and focus on your breathing. Concentrate as you fill your lungs with air and then as you breathe out. This will have a calming effect and allow your thought to float away.
Eliminate tasks – Review your to-do list and pick a couple of things that you are able to do each day. Less on your list = less on your mind
Walk – Walking outside will change your surroundings and help to get things off your mind whole doing some physical activity
Declutter your surroundings – A clear house or desk helps to clear your mind by having less clutter which can occupy part of your mind, even if you don’t realise it.
