Experience

Pat has been a Bach practitioner since August 2003 and has been teaching the remedies since October 2004. Her career in Holistic Health began when she trained as a Clinical Aromatherapist in 1997 after major personal life changes. Her background had been in Administration and Personnel. She opened up a Complementary Health Care clinic in her home town of North Shields the same year she qualified. The clinic is well known and respected in the area today and works closely with the local health centres, often receiving referrals. She continued to develop her expertise in various complementary therapies as listed above.

Pat trained as an Adult education teacher in 1999 so that she could help others to help themselves with holistic therapies. Her love of plants and her work in Aromatherapy led her to research the vibrational healing energy of the flower essences and Dr Bach’s work which reflected her own philosophy on healing. This was the beginning of her journey with the essences.

Her work through the years has involved running a low cost Bach Flower essence clinic for nursery children funded through the local authority, teaching teachers at a special needs school about touch and aromatherapy, working voluntarily treating members of a Breast Cancer support group, and treating adults with special needs in the community. She has worked for Women’s Health in South Tyneside for ten years teaching various courses in complementary medicine. As well as looking after the day to day running of the clinic and treating clients herself, she currently runs private courses for the Bach Centre and courses through education providers such as Adult Community Learning and the Worker’s Education Association.
