Dr Edward Bach was a pathologist, bacteriologist and homoeopath who spent his life searching for the purest methods of healing. He believed physical health was intrinsically linked to emotional health.
Dr Bach discovered 38 remedies which can be combined (a maximum of 7 is recommended) to suit the individual. The flower remedies are made from wild plants, trees and bushes. They work by treating the individual rather than the disease or its symptoms and are a gentle way to manage your emotions and rediscover the positive side of yourself.
Each of the 38 Bach™ Original Flower Remedies is unique and helps to manage a different emotion. Dr Bach split the remedies into 7 groups to help guide selection. Most people find it reasonably easy to select their own remedies. All you need to do is find the remedy (or remedies) that seems to reflect your situation, mood or personality the best. You can mix up to seven together at a time. All the states described are everyday human emotions that we all feel from time to time. Even the most negative state has a corresponding positive quality that shows us what we can be when we are fully ourselves.

I find that Vervain is useful to calm my son, who can be over-enthusiastic and Larch to improve my daughters confidence. I think Rescue Remedy is an essential for all parents, I have even used it on the rabbit ”
