Overstretching yourself

Overstretching yourself

The following case study is intended to give you an imaginary scenario where some of Dr Bach's remedies might be useful.

After the case study, there is a list of a few remedies that could be applicable in this case. Learn about these remedies by clicking on the links to the remedy profiles and then see if you can answer the questions below them to test your knowledge of the remedies.

Case study

Sharon and Karen work for a paper recycling company. Sharon is married with three teenage sons and always has lots of washing, ironing, cleaning and cooking to do. She belongs to several environmental groups and spends any free time campaigning for one cause or another. Currently she’s organising a protest march against a proposed housing development in a green belt area.  She’s passionate about keeping the countryside unspoilt and determined to prevent the development.

For the past few weeks, she’s spent the weekends and most evenings enthusiastically drumming up support for the march. She never switches off and finds it difficult to relax. She urges Karen to get involved, she’s not keen but has difficulty saying no and soon finds herself being swept along by Sharon’s strong will, wishing she had stood up to her.

Just lately, Sharon has felt overwhelmed with her workload and responsibilities, questioning if it’s all too much for her and wondering if she’ll be able to cope.

This course is designed to give only a brief introduction to a limited number of Dr Bach’s remedies. Therefore, it does not cover the whole system of 38 Bach flower remedies.  We would always recommend looking to the complete system to find out which remedy is best for you. More information on Dr Bach’s 38 flower remedies can be found on the Bach™ Original Flower Remedies website by attending the BIEP courses.
