Case study

Kim and Jane have a small catering business and have just had a call from a client informing them a party they were booked to cater in two weeks had been cancelled.   For several weeks now, business had been slow and this was income they’d been counting on.  Kim felt anxious but glossed over the bad news and in her usual bright and cheerful way told Jane not to worry as something else would come along.

They’d not taken a deposit but had already done a certain amount of preparation.  Jane wanted to take the matter further, but Kim disliking confrontation persuaded her to leave it preferring to soft peddle and keep the peace.

When Kim got home, still feeling unsettled she called a friend inviting her around for a meal, as she prepared it she tucked into a tub of chocolate biscuits and drank a glass of wine.  Tidying up the kitchen, she noticed the tub was empty and couldn’t believe she’d done it again - reacted to the bad news by binging on chocolate biscuits. She felt really disappointed with herself.  She took a quick shower before her friend arrived and tried on several outfits but thought she looked awful in all of them.  Despondently she looked in the mirror and thought how podgy she’d become and felt disgusted with herself.

This course is designed to give only a brief introduction to a limited number of Dr Bach’s remedies.
