High Profile Appointments To Nelsons Leadership Team

Nelsons strengthens its Leadership Team with recruitments across finance, supply chain and marketing.

Since her appointment as Nelsons new CEO, Claire Ferguson has been busy building her Executive Leadership Team and over the last six months, there have been three key hires bringing experience and industry expertise to one of the UK's leading and Europe’s longest established manufacturers of natural healthcare products.

  

Selene Daly (left) has taken over the role of Supply Chain Director and is responsible for operations and logistics at both manufacturing facilities in Wimbledon, London and Snowdonia, Wales. Selene’s previous roles have been in leading pharmaceutical manufacturers including Allergan, Quest Diagnostics and Teva Pharmaceuticals and most recently, she was Vice President of Supply Chain at Vectura, the UK Drug Delivery Company who partner with Glaxo, Bayer and Novartis to manufacture their licensed products.

 

Gary McGaghey (right) is Nelsons new Chief Finance Officer and Company Secretary. Gary comes to Nelsons from Unilever where he held senior positions (CFO, VP of Finance and VP of Global Mergers and Acquisition) across several business divisions including Unilever South Africa and Unilever’s Global Business Services. Most recently, he was CFO for the global Iced Tea joint venture between Unilever and PepsiCo based in Geneva. 

 

Cris Burson-Thomas (left) has recently filled a newly created role, Chief Marketing Officer, which will build on in-house capabilities in order to further raise awareness of Nelsons brands, build equity and drive penetration amongst new and existing users. Cris has extensive marketing experience as Global Marketing Manager at Boots Healthcare International, Head of Marketing for Europe at Novartis Consumer and most recently, Integrated Marketing Communications Director at L’Oreal, responsible for La Roche, Vichy and Roger & Gallet.
