RESCUE Remedy® And Their Award Winning TV Debut
RESCUE Remedy®’s first ever UK TV advert, created by Alpha Century and voiced by actress Emilia Fox, won “Best Consumer Advertising on TV” in the inaugural OTC Bulletin Marketing Awards in March. The advert, showcasing “30 seconds of silent brand yellow”, encouraged viewers to ‘stop and take a moment’ with RESCUE and launched on C4 digital channels during prime time television.
The quietly disruptive TV campaign targeted RESCUE’s key audience of ABC1 women who recognise the demands of juggling their busy life. The judge’s comments ranged from, “Nelsons and Alpha Century cleverly tapped into the current trend for mindfulness and created an advertisement that stood out thanks to its simplicity” to “Very brave use of a long silence but it matched Rescue Remedy’s well-developed brand image and made a real impact”.
