We all know how nerve-wracking dates can be – worrying about what to wear, what you’re going to say, whether you’ll have anything in common! However, a recent survey[i] by Nelsons has shown that there may be even more to worry about when preparing for that special date night...hay fever! 1 in 10 people have been embarrassed by the symptoms of hay fever while on a date or romantic occasion and, with symptoms such as itchy eyes, a runny nose and sneezing, it is not difficult to understand why when you’re trying to impress Mr Right!

As well as causing embarrassment when trying to impress your date, the survey also revealed a number of places where the symptoms of hay fever are considered to be most inconvenient. Over a third of respondents revealed that work is where they find the symptoms of hay fever most annoying and worryingly 1 in 5 stated that they found the symptoms most irritating when driving. As well as driving, 15% of people found hay fever to be most inconvenient when using public transport and, while we all like to be outside when the sun comes out, almost 20% of participants found that they were unable to enjoy outdoor summer events due to the symptoms of hay fever.

So don’t let hay fever hold you back this year, whether it’s meeting Mr Right, enjoying a summer festival or heading on a road trip! Nelsons® Pollenna™ contains a unique selection of homeopathic remedies, specifically combined to help bring gentle and soothing relief for the distressing symptoms of hay fever.
